Website to book train tickets?
I need to book a ticket to go from Florence to Pisa to meet with some friends for the day. Is there a website where I can book it ahead of time? I don't want to risk not being able to meet up with my friends.
There is no need to buy a ticket ahead of time for Florence to Pisa. The regional trains run frequently, and are unreserved (you just pick any available seat when you board). Save time by buying your ticket from the ticket machine or directly from the tobacconist inside the station.
Remember to validate your ticket for travel in the little yellow machine at the beginning of the platform - you can risk a fine if you don't do this!
If you want to check the timetables and prices, you can consult the official website for all trains in Italy: http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepage_en.html
